Our Story
André Gilliland & Associates Optometry is a professional eye care Practice Group that originated in Wellington.
Actively serving our Wellington Community since 1997 going on 24 years, we also expanded to Porterville and Mbekweni and strive to expand the same consistent approach to other premises in future.
We value the fact that we are paranoid about delivering exceptional customer service, proper eye care, quality product and dynamic approach towards modern optometry.
As a team of qualified optometrists we embrace the newest technologies and strive to keep up in bringing the latest lens and equipment technology to find the best solutions to our valued customers whilst enjoying what we passionately love to do.
With over 1200 frames, a variety of tested sport and designer sunglasses, multi-focus spectacles and specialised contact lenses, we provide a large variety to any member of the family.

André studied Optometry at Rand Afrikaans University and got his degree in 1995. He then worked in Upington for two years, but his big dream was to open a practice in the Boland. It was then that he decided to start his own practice in Wellington in 1997.
